Introduction

Red Flag Oversight Consultancy services (Red Flag) strongly supports, respects and protects your privacy. In pursuance thereof, Red Flag has developed its Privacy policy in accordance with the generally accepted principles including those enunciated by the US-EU Safe Harbor privacy principles that ensures that the information collected from its clients and visitors to its websites (www.myredflag.org and www.theethicscall.com ) is used only in the manner and for the purposes described in this Policy.

Purposes:

The purpose of this Policy is to explain the types of information that Red Flag collects, the manner of its use, further disclosure of the information and general management of the information.

Information Collection & Use.

Visitors to the Red Flag website (including www.ethicscall.com ) may request more information by filling out one or more of our available online forms. The standard information request forms are: First name, Last name, Email, Phone, Company, and address. The information collected through these forms is used solely to contact the visitor to resolve any questions and/or comments that they might have.

Red Flag 'Services' related information:

The core services of the company relate to auditing, investigation, inspection, ethics programme, evaluation, monitoring and training. The Company therefore in pursuance of its business collects information from its Clients' employees, vendors, agents, and stakeholders (collectively, "client stakeholders") either through its web-based solutions or other methods employed through the internet. The Company is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of stakeholders except where consent has been expressly obtained.

Information Sharing and Disclosure:

Red Flag does not share sell, share, trade, disclose or give away personal identifiable information to Third Parties. Clients who use Red Flag services including the website must abide by the same principal guidelines followed by the company.Following exceptions to the above are narrated for clarity.

  • Consent:

If the individual has consented to the disclosure of his or her Personal Information, the Company may share such Personal Information with others, including without limitation, a Company Client.

  • Protection of Red Flag interests:

Red Flag reserves its right to disclose personal information as required by law and when it is believed that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on its Web site. Accordingly, the company may disclose Personal Information to others: (i) if required by or permitted to do so by law or legal process; (ii) in connection with legal or administrative proceedings; (iii) to protect the rights, reputation, property or safety of the Company or others; (iv) to defend or enforce the Company's rights or Clients' obligations; or (v) if the disclosure is required by mandatory professional standards.

  • Business Transfers:

In the event that the Company decides to sell all or part of its stock or assets or merge its Company, it reserves the right to include Personal Information among the assets transferred to the acquiring or surviving company. It is the Company's practice to seek appropriate protection for Personal Information in these types of transactions.

  • Anonymous Information:

The Company may provide to others anonymous information as aggregated for purposes of marketing, promotion or similar activities. None of this aggregated information will identify individuals personally.

 

Partners

Red Flag does not share your information with any partner companies without the permission. Personal information will not be sold or shared with any newsletter or mailing list companies.

 

Children

Red Flag does not publish information that is not suitable for children or minors. Examples of pornography, offensive language, inappropriate graphics, or depiction of violence are not published on Red Flag sites.

 

Terms

No party other than Red Flag and participating Customers are allowed to access information stored on its servers. Doing so is a violation of law. Red Flag has taken caution by placing security measures and firewalls on all network servers in an attempt to prevent outside parties from accessing private information. In the event of a breach of security or attempted breach of security, Red Flag will press charges to the fullest extent against those parties illegally accessing information on our servers, both civilly and criminally.

 

Cookies

Web-based services such as the hotline include access to a Client's secure portal on the Company's Site. Such access requires the servers to use session cookies to help identify each Client and to render service more efficiently. These session cookies do not collect any Personal Information.

Access and Data Integrity

Account Access

Usernames and passwords are stored in our databases. All passwords are encrypted. Account information is kept secure and used solely by you to access your client account, and to facilitate communication. Company administrators have permission to make corrections or changes to their account information as needed. User information is stored only when a user voluntarily gives this information for use by a client company. No information is released outside of the Red Flag system.

Access to Personally Identifiable Information

If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may [correct, update, delete or deactivate it] by emailing our Customer Support at support@myredflag.org.

Links to other websites

As a service to our Clients and Visitors, the Company provides hyperlinks to valuable resources that are related to the Red Flag services. These hyperlinks (either on text, picture or words), when clicked, may take you to third party websites which are generally not controlled by the Company. Such hyperlinked, third-party Websites may collect and disclose information in a manner that is different from the Red Flag Site. The Company is not responsible for the collection, use, or disclosure of information collected through these third-party Websites, and the Company expressly disclaims any and all liability related to such collection, use, or disclosure. The Company does not collect any Personal Information from any persons who click on these hyperlinks located on the Site.

Security

The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. The Company shall not be responsible for any actual or consequential damages (or any other damages or liability of any kind whatsoever) that result from a lapse in compliance with this Policy because of a security breach or technical malfunction.

Amendment to this Privacy Policy

Red Flag may periodically update, modify or change its privacy policy. When this occurs, its new privacy policy will be posted on the Site and may be accessed to view the latest version of the policy.

 

This Privacy Policy is effective from November 1, 2009.
