Kabir Shaikh (UK) with his 40 years of career as an educationist in UK, was adviser to governments at Ministerial level on setting up Education Ministries, involved in developing national curricula, establishing quality assurance frameworks and devising evaluation methodologies and assessing education structures.
International experience of leading complex and multidisciplinary, multinational teams of staff, particularly in Europe, the Commonwealth and the Middle East including education in conflict and post conflict situations.
UNESCO Director of Education for 7 years for the Palestinian refugees, Director of Education for the Bournemouth Borough Council and several positions in the UK are some of the career posts he held.
Mr. Shaikh held the prestigeous position of first Director of the UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi International Institute for Peace and Sustainability at New Delhi for its two formative years.
Besides being honored with a CBE by HM Queen Elizabeth for his contribution to education, he is a regular invitee for keynote addresses at national and international levels.
